360 CARLA Career Symposium in Burgdorf: Registration Now Open!
Date
Thursday 7th of May at 1 pm to the 8th of May 2026 after the lunch
Do not miss this inspiring event designed to showcase career opportunities in the field of Photonics, the technologies and applications using light (photons) and combining sophisticated optics and electronics!!
This event is ideal for
bachelor, master or doctoral students as well as for postdocs and young researchers who want to explore technological advances, career paths, and professional opportunities in photonics, in particular in industry. Our symposium will give you the opportunity to meet companies and discuss their job offers and to meet professionals to inspire you for your career choices.
The
program of the symposium in the Auditorium will address career planning and development and will include technical presentations having a general (but not exclusive)
focus on green photonics, i.e. the applications of photonic technologies for Energy, Environment, Sustainability, Agriculture and Food. You will have the chance to listen to three key-note presentations, on light pollution and innovative lighting solutions, on the latest advances in photovoltaics and an inspiring overview on green photonics. We believe that this area still has a huge potential for many more innovative photonic solutions and leads to career paths particularly full of sense and useful for the development of our World and societies.
The symposium will bring many opportunities to
network, connect and exchange with professionals and other students with similar aspirations.
