SNSF Photonics

The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) supports many projects in basic photonics science. The most important one are listed here:

National center of competence:

• NCCR-QP, in the 9th year
• NCCR-MUST by Profs. U. Keller and Th. Feurer, to be started in July 2010

In addition there are three Nano-Tera photonics projects

• MIXSEL
• IRSENS
• NEXRAY

Most of these programs do also support technology transfer activities.
